Evaluation of Origins unit.

This unit has been a little shock to the system. I have to adjust to a whole new way of learning that I have never experienced before and have doubted my ability and confidence in my art work. It has been a struggle to produce independent work as I felt like if I did I wouldn't be doing things correctly although after my tutorial I realized that I need to stop over-thinking things too much and just go with the ideas in my head as nothing can be wrong it can always just be improved. I've learnt that artist research is a huge influence and I need to do more of this as it makes the making side of things much more easier. The party poppers wrapped in thread are my favorite pieces as in the images they look a lot bigger than what they actually are, they remind me of guards or a protective figure because of the the way they broaden out almost like a pair of broad shoulders. using the paper clips for the verb list I enjoyed as well because the outcomes of each one where completely different. I like the fact that one object can look so different in different arrangements and forms and create different shadows and dimensions.  I wish I could do this unit all over again as I know now what improvements I need to make in my own style of learning and how I produce work best. in conclusion this unit has been one big learning curve for me and I know with whatever tasks are set I am going to show my potential and enjoy every part of it.
