I wanted to create a range of different marks using different media, so I used a piece of work I created in mixed media last term which consisted of a cube made out of cotton buds. I prefer making marks with random materials and media I think it makes drawings more unique and original than drawing with a lot of detail with a pencil. Whilst researching I came across an Artist called Lora Reynolds. She uses mark making in a lot of her work in a simple but effective way and I really like how she uses it to her advantage.
